The following is part of a personal book cover project started in September of 2023 in which I take my favorite music videos and reimagine them as book covers. The book cover shown is for the music video Sleepwalk by hitorie.

While I only intended to illustrate the covers and maybe a few supporting illustrations, my love for this song led me to create a “first chapter”.

The copy was written by myself, but I was heavily influenced and inspired by the Sleepwalk lyrics. While my understanding of Japanese helped a ton, I really relied on the translations from Manjuhitorie on tumblr.
